Well, that was FUN!
Let me start by saying that I love continuing education.
No, like I seriously, really, truly and honestly LOVE to keep learning! In fact, the more I know, the more I know that I don’t know. I heard that, a long time ago, but never really understood how that could be possible but I now understand. Photography is so vast and ever-changing. There are so many styles and types of photography from the various lighting scenarios, posing, props and so much more. It’s (seemingly) literally infinite! That’s not even touching the 10,000,000 ways a photo can be edited after capture.
My recent trip
This year has started out with a lot of personal investment in training. My most recent was a 4-day intensive newborn photography retreat with THE Ana Brandt, who is probably the best and most famous newborn photographer in the entire country. I learned so much during this “Baby Academy”! Not only did I increase my education in working with newborns and baby safety practices, I also picked up a lot more props, outfits, poses, studio accessories and lighting equipment, as well.
So excited!
I am now pretty much bursting at the seams to get my next newborn session going. It’s just two more weeks away but it seems like so far. Remember what it was like when you were a kid and the Christmas tree was up and it was surrounded by all kinds of wrapped presents and every day you waited seemed to drag on, forever? Same thing!
If you are at about the 28 week gestation mark now (or know someone who is…because don’t forget that you get cash for referring a client who books) then this is the best time to contact me for a consultation for your maternity and newborn session. I can’t WAIT to hear from you and bring what I learned to you mommys and daddys here in the Cape Coral area!
